PetroChina Dagang Petrochemical Company is located in Binhai New Area, Tianjin. It is a regional refining and chemical enterprise directly under PetroChina. Founded in 1965, it was formerly known as Dagang Oilfield Refinery. Restructuring was completed in 2000, and the company came under the management of PetroChina Company Limited. It has an annual crude oil primary processing capacity of 5 million tons, supported by multiple core refining and chemical units. Leveraging crude oil resources from Dagang Oilfield, the facility can process various types of crude oil. As a key PetroChina production base for clean oil products and chemical feedstocks, it has built two major production bases for million-ton jet fuel and million-ton low-sulfur marine fuel oil.

The company manufactures more than 40 types of petrochemical products, including National VI standard gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, low-sulfur marine fuel oil, naphtha, liquefied petroleum gas, propylene, MTBE, low-sulfur petroleum coke and sulfur. Its products are supplied across domestic regions including North China, East China, Central China and South China. Multi-modal transportation via pipeline, highway, railway and sea shipping is available for external sales. Products such as naphtha can be shipped across regions to supply refining units within the group. The company has established a sound QHSE management system covering quality, health, safety and environment. It is equipped with complete product testing and quality traceability systems to strictly control product quality, and can steadily supply standard oil products and chemical raw materials according to customer requirements.

In terms of technological innovation and industrial upgrading, Dagang Petrochemical continuously carries out technical renovation of units and construction of digital and intelligent plants. Advanced refining processes such as ionic liquid alkylation have been implemented. The enterprise keeps optimizing product structure, increasing output of high value-added products and improving resource utilization efficiency.
